PDD (Percentage Depth Dose) in Radiotherapy: Peering Deep into the Data

Radiotherapy is a data-rich environment, yet analysis of the data can be a laborious and complex process. Dosimetrists and Radiation Therapists must make sense of the clinic around us and gather insight from the data, learn from it, and apply those findings to our patients for their benefit. However, analysis is often restricted to those who have a certain research skill set and knowledge of how to use complex research tools. Sometimes, it may be a case of not knowing where to start or what could be analyzed for the good of the clinic and our patients.
