Yasmin McQuinlan, Research Dosimetrist here at Mirada, presented a talk entitled “Nothing Compares 2 U: An Exploration of Segmentation Metrics for Radiation Therapy” to a group of well over 200 attendees during an AAMD live online learning webinar. In this session, Yasmin reviewed the history of segmentation metrics, explained the importance of understanding the process of contour evaluation, introduced the current segmentation evaluation metric options, and explained the meaning of each.
